Call me chicken but the idea of a 30k thought just seemed too big tonight.

So then, the movie was (is) Good Night, and Good Luck. Say what you want about Clooney (over-handsome, under-actor, I've heard them all) this was a GREAT flick. Artfully rendered and acurately portrayed, at least as far as I could tell. It does raise a few good questions: Is journalism truly able to free itself from the bias of the journalists who create it? If so, should it? If not, does the inherent bias render journalism anathema to itself?

More a line of questioning than a thought. See, told you I was chicken.

Good night, and Good Luck.

30k thought for the day

That's what I'll be calling most of my entries. In case you couldn't tell from the blog title, I am a Seminary student. I'm pursuing my MA in Counseling. I figure it will cost us (my lovely wife and I) about 30k when it's all said and done, hence the phrase "30k thought for the day". I figure the more I share, the more we all learn. You will get to hear something new, or hopefully a new spin on something old, and I will get to repeat what I've learned thereby solidifying it all the more into my thick skull.

More to come tomorrow...

My First Post

Bloggers Unite!
